Overview:
- Part-Time (0.8 FTE / 28.8 hours per week), Fixed-Term position until May 2026- Salary Level HEW 6 + 17% Superannuation- Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, and hybrid ways of working
About the role
As Partnerships and Engagement Officer, you will be responsible for providing high quality engagement, project management and administrative support to the College of Design and Social Context Partnerships team for activities related to developing, supporting and deepening our key industry partnerships.
In this role, you will assist with project management including the administration, coordination, promotion/communication and delivery of the team's engagement and events program, administering meetings and events schedules, documentation and reporting for industry projects and events, and liaison with RMIT service groups and external providers. There is also the opportunity to take responsibility for regular partner activities, with the manager's support.
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- A knowledge and understanding of the tertiary education sector and the Creative Arts and Design sectors (desirable).- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a complex range of stakeholders and maintain effective working relationships, through appropriate communication practices, to achieve positive outcomes.- Highly developed organisational and communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.- Experience in the coordination of events and engagement activities and associated promotion, to build high levels of participation.- Demonstrated experience in administration and the ability to work proactively to manage workload and achieve desired outcomes.- Demonstrated high level computer skills including Office 365, design and presentation software.
