About the Role
In response to the massive investment in infrastructure in Victoria, BG&E's Victorian Civil team is growing and as a result we are seeking technically experienced and team-oriented Civil Designers to help build and grow our Civil Engineering capability.
Our Melbourne business provides civil and structural engineering services, among others, for transport infrastructure projects in a wide variety of markets. Our highly-skilled technical experts are driven by a passion to help clients achieve their goals and improve society for today and future generations.

**What to expect day to day**:
Deliver model outputs to the requirements of clients, drafters and designers.
Delivery quality and accurate model outputs under the guidance of Senior Civil Designers.
Demonstrate effective communication skills.
About you
Working knowledge and understanding of Austroads, VicRoads and Australian Standards relevant to road geometry design.
Be passionate about learning and seek feedback to ensure professional and technical career development.
Working understanding of civil and road engineering principles, road geometry design process and road safety considerations and requirements.
Proficient in the use of road design software packages such as InRoads, OpenRoads, 12d and/or Civil 3D.
Working understanding of drafting software packages such as AutoCAD and Microstation.
Minimum 2+ years of experience in the design and delivery of road and highway infrastructure projects.
