Maintenance Electrician role at Patties Food Group.
The position reports to the Site Electrical Team Leader and involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across the facility.
The role will take place on the night shift.

Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair electrical faults in machinery, control panels, and wiring systems.
Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment and systems reliable and reduce breakdowns.
Install and upgrade electrical systems (motors, control circuits, lighting, distribution boards).
Ensure safety and compliance with electrical codes, standards, and workplace health & safety.
Document and report maintenance activities including repairs, inspections, and system updates.
The Person
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in a similar role preferably in the food / FMCG landscape.
You will also have experience and skills in the following:
Electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance of industrial/food processing equipment.
Fault finding in complex electrical systems and machinery to meet production targets.
Breakdown response and preventive maintenance, including routine facility upkeep.
Read and interpret electrical/mechanical blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, multitasking, and communication skills.
Identify and implement improvements in maintenance practices and plant performance.
Computer literacy with experience using maintenance systems (e.g., MEX).
Knowledge of WHS principles and safety standards compliance.
Trade-qualified electrician; prior experience in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred.
