We have an exciting new opportunity that doesn't come around too often, our Technology and Development team are looking for a passionate systems' enthusiast to step in as Database Administrator on a full time, permanent basis, so keep reading if you want to experience the Power to be different at Red Energy.

This role is all about encouraging flexible work practices to accommodate system changes and improvements in line with business requirements. You'll look to utilise your expertise to develop, implement and maintain Red Energy's database systems and ensure the retail business is running efficiently. Here you can play a role in delivering technology solutions to our operational needs by designing and developing new product offerings. We encourage you to identify and implement performance improvement and take on opportunities to further develop our standards.

**What we are looking for**:

- Minimum of 3 years demonstrated Database Systems Operations experience
- Experience managing SQL Server Database systems including: Integration Services, Analysis Services, PowerBI/Reporting Services and Windows PowerShell
- Knowledge of Database structure and theory
- Demonstrated ability to excel both independently and as a team member in a collaborative environment
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience desirable (e.g. information technology but other analytic thinking fields such as programming or development are also suitable)
- Experience in Cloud services and other RDBMS software (i.e Oracle, PostgreSQL, cassandra, MySQL), Network Attached Storage, Windows Server Administration, Unix systems and Networking is desirable
