**KGF has an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Manager.**

**Location - Kilcoy**

**THE OPPORTUNITY**

Reporting the head of QA, this role will see you managing a Team of four (4), while ensuring a consistent delivery of quality results to Kilcoy Global Foods internal laboratory customers.

**ABOUT YOU**

You will have experience a minimum of 5 plus years' experience operating in a NATA / DAWR approved Microbiology laboratory.

**You will also**:

- Be Tertiary qualified
- Possess a willingness to obtain NATA signatory or hold a NATA Signatory accreditation highly regarded
- Be focusses with a high attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and in written form, with all levels of the organization
- Team player with strong analytical and organizational skills to prioritise multiple tasks to achieve deadlines
- Competency in the Microsoft Office product suite
- Global Digital System machine experience preferred

**Highly regarded**:

- Previous experience with PCR methods ie GDS / BAX and confirmation of pathogens along with reading of microbial results will also be highly regarded
- Previous experience in a similar environment (meat processing / food manufacturing) will be highly regarded
