Roller Operator/Mr Driver

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate and maintain rollers and other heavy machinery efficiently and safely, making sure to follow project specifications and safety regulations.
- Drive a Medium Rigid (MR) vehicle to transport equipment and materials to and from project sites.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery to ensure it's performing at its best and identify any repairs needed.
- Help with the construction and maintenance of roads, including compaction of soil and asphalt using the roller.
- Follow project plans and specifications to ensure accurate and high-quality work.
- Stick to safety protocols, including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and following safe work practices.
- Provide guidance and supervision to other team members when necessary.
- Assist with manual handling tasks, such as lifting and moving heavy equipment or materials.
- Maintain accurate records of work done, materials used, and any incidents or accidents.
- Keep the work area clean and organized at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Roller Operator and MR Driver in a construction or road maintenance setting.
- Good knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to read and understand project plans, specifications, and safety documents.
- Great driving skills with a valid MR driver's license.
- Proficient in manual handling techniques and capable of lifting heavy equipment or materials.
- Attention to detail and dedication to producing top-notch work.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
- Physical stamina and endurance to work in different weather conditions and handle physically demanding tasks.
