Mackellar are the mining services contractor for Bravus' Carmichael Mine. Production is in full swing at the mine site located in the Galilee Basin. We're building our team and inviting applicants from regional Queensland. Townsville and Rockhampton are our primary recruitment hubs; flights are available from Rockhampton, Townsville, and Cairns for a 7/7 roster. We also encourage applicants from all regional Queensland communities.
What's on offer includes a competitive pay rate of
$67.25 per hour
plus Superannuation on all hours, an attractive retention incentive scheme (
$3k
first year,
$6k
second year,
$9k
third year, conditions apply), an Employee Referral Bonus of
$2,500
for successful referrals, a transparent and structured upskilling program, and meals, camp accommodation (gym and wet mess on site), PPE provided.

Responsibilities
Have a minimum of 12 months previous experience in a mining environment operating large 400t+ Excavators and Dozers
Be flexible and contribute as a valued member of the team
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and work with teams to develop and implement solutions
Qualifications
Relevant RII competencies, or competencies signed off within the last 5 years
Current Standard 11 & driver's licence
Commitment to safety and maintaining a safe work environment
