**ARE YOU THE KITCHEN HAND / POT WASH WE ARE LOOKING FOR?**

**THE ROLE REPORTS** to the Production Manager, to work Mondays to Fridays & some weekends, approximately 9 am to 3 pm.

**QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE**
- Demonstrated experience in a Cook role or operating in a similar capacity for a minimum of 6 months (minimum entry level)
- Certificate III or IV - Commercial Cookery Flexible work style and enjoys variety
- Good communication skills
- Team player

- Able to exercise good judgment
- Dedicated with strong work ethic & 'can do' attitude

**KEY DUTIES**
- Follow the prep list created by chefs to plan duties
- Prepare sandwiches, wraps or salads and other similar items as directed by Management.
- Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meetc.
- Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible
- Measure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking
- Undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food etc.
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash etc.
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
