Overview
Federal Government | Initial 12-month contract | Sydney, Brisbane or Canberra
We are seeking an APS6 Interaction Designer to work for a federal government agency on an initial 12-month contract.
Responsibilities
Create and manage the visual aspects of marketing and communications materials for all digital channels, websites and other media, including infographics.
Work closely with the communications teams to understand briefs, and to produce high quality marketing and communications assets that align with brand identities and strategic objectives.
Provide specialist creative advice and guidance to support all communication plans and initiatives.
Develop concepts and designs for a variety of projects and evolve brand identities and visual guides; ensure that all design work adheres to style guidelines and standards.
Establish and maintain systems for storage of finished art and asset libraries, and ensure that all design files are organized and accessible.
Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, communicate the benefits of each option, and review and provide feedback on the design work of other graphic designers to ensure timely delivery of digital design work.
Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in graphic design or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Australian citizen is required to be considered for this opportunity.
Working arrangements
You can work from the Brisbane, Sydney or Canberra office with very flexible hybrid working arrangements (1-2 days per week in office).
