World-renowned magazine, book producer, digital publisher and creative agency is on the hunt for a graphic designer to join our kick-ass team at Sneaker Freaker
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, have excellent design skills and be savvy across digital mediums.
They will work closely with our editorial, creative and social teams to supply strategic solutions for branded and editorial content, and work on key projects that push the boundaries of print.
You will need to have a firm opinion and the ability to back it up by expressing yourself clearly across different mediums.
Magazine experience is awesome but not essential.
An aficionado understanding of sneakers and streetwear is not a foundation of this job, but brings in bonus points.
You must, however, keep up with trends and have a knowledge of what's popping across design and culture.
This is definitely a full-time gig for a seasoned pro who values print and digital, and is ready to take on a full-time role in a creative space
Role
Create visually compelling packaging, catalogues, website material and other marketing collateral
Collaborate closely with the team to conceptualise campaigns and brand assets
Prepare print-ready files and liaise with suppliers to ensure high-quality outputs
Product photography editing, mock-ups, and promotional material
Provide timely updates using project management platforms
Ideal Candidate
At least 5 years experience as a graphic designer, with a strong portfolio
Black-belt proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc
An eye for detail, typography and layout, with the ability to transform complex information into visually striking designs
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Passion for staying up to date with the latest design trends and techniques
Experience with digital asset creation (motion experience is a huge plus)
Highly organised and able to manage multiple briefs and projects
Ability to work closely with a team and also operate independently
Work well under pressure and hit daily deadlines
This job cannot be carried out remotely.
