mecwacare is thrilled to introduce a newly created position for a GM P&C Business Partner, operating under fresh leadership. Reporting directly to the Executive General Manager of People and Culture, you will spearhead our HR initiatives, working closely with business leaders to drive excellence and innovation across the organisation. You shall be driven and analytical individual who is keen to join a team whose clear aim is to build the capability of our people focusing on Mental Health and Wellbeing, Engagement and Inclusion. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and driving activities to completion in a rapidly growing organisation with CARE at its core. Your ideas will be respected and encouraged, and your career supported within a truly collaborative team environment.

**About the Opportunity**:

- Along with your team you will engage in close collaboration with both the leadership group and employees to address a wide spectrum of HR-related matters,
- Driving a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Enhancing the newly established business partnering model
- Ensuring confidence in dealings across the complex industrial landscape
- Prioritise a contemporary WHS & Wellbeing culture.

**About you**:

- Min 5+ years' experience in a Sr. Manager P&C role managing a team.
- Demonstrated HR business partnering expertise in IR/ER, performance management, health and safety, compensation and change management.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage with COE teams and stakeholders to align HR strategies with business goals.
- Ability to provide coaching to leaders and assist in learning and development efforts to enhance workforce capability.
- Experience managing complex HR investigations and providing resolution recommendations.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation, enterprise agreements, and ability to review policies and procedures for compliance best practices.
- Experience supporting employee retention and engagement initiatives.
