Personal Carer

SCCQ has an opportunity for You to join our caring team at our beautiful Caloundra Rise Residential Aged Care Home in Little Mountain (next to Caloundra) as an Aged Care Worker working in the role of a Personal Carer. We have both casual and part time roles available.

Working under the direction of the Enrolled & Registered Nurses, as a Personal Carer you will be providing person centred, high quality care to our residents. You will demonstrate compassion, sensitivity and maturity to provide personal care to our residents, including bathing, dressing, toileting and other support services depending on the individual residents needs.

**What you will bring to the role?**
- You will hold a Certificate III in Aged Care (or equivalent)
- Medication Assist Competency (desirable)
- You will have an understanding of Aged Care and Residents rights and responsibilities
- You are dedicated to caring for older people to live their best lives
- You will work well within a team environment and have a friendly approachable manner
- Strong attention to detail and outstanding communication skills
- You must be flexible with your availability of days and shift times
