**About the Business**:
Yancoal Australia is one of Australia's largest pure play coal producers. It boasts three tier one thermal coal mines in New South Wales together with interests in three other metallurgical and thermal coal mines located in New South Wales and Queensland. Managed by Yancoal, Premier Coal is the leading coal producer in Western Australia. Operating an open cut coal mine near Collie in the South West of WA, the operation produces around 3 million tonnes of coal per year for domestic supply.

Premier Coal are looking for a Mine Surveyor to join the team on a 8 on 6 off roster.

**About the Role**:
This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual, who enjoys both engaging with broad stakeholders groups and working autonomously. We are looking for a self-starter who wants to take the next step in their career whilst working for a reputable mining company..

**Roster**:8 on 6 off (dayshift)

**Fixed Term Fulltime (12 months)**

**About You**:
To be successful in this role you will have the following attributes;
- Tertiary Qualifications in Mine Surveying (Diploma or higher)
- Current drivers' licence
- Experience working in the mining industry (preferred)
- Highly developed skills pertaining to mining software packages and surveying practices (Vulcan, Point Studio preferred.)
- Skilled in hazard identification and responsive to safety issues.
- Competent computer user with working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Sound understanding of global positioning systems and total station use.
- UAV experiences in Multi Rotor and VTOL (preferred)
- Well experienced in maintaining communication across several departments
