The Role
As the Marketing Coordinator you will support the planning, execution and optimisation of customer lifecycle communications across email, SMS and push. Reporting to the CRM Marketing Manager, you will work closely with a cross-functional team to deliver timely, relevant and personalised campaigns to drive user engagement, in-app activity, bookings and loyalty.
This hands-on role is responsible for building and deploying campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, assisting with segmentation and automation, and supporting ongoing performance analysis. You will help to ensure campaigns are well-targeted, brand-aligned and data-driven, contributing directly to key digital and customer outcomes. You'll guide strategic planning, support cross-functional prioritisation, and foster a test-and-learn culture to optimise performance and unlock new opportunities. The role will champion best practice in segmentation, automation, personalisation and CRM platform usage—while ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance.
Collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners, you'll keep the customer at the centre of every decision, while continuously improving campaign effectiveness, leveraging insights to refine strategy, and developing team capability to stay ahead in a dynamic CRM landscape. You will be creative, strategic, agile and customer first, with proven experience in using data to drive innovative campaigns and initiatives that deliver conversion and retention uplift.
This Role Will Require You To
Campaign Execution & Coordination
Build and schedule multi-channel CRM campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Set up customer journeys, automations, segments and A/B tests
Maintain campaign calendars and support on-time delivery across key programs and promotions
Ensure communications are accurate, on-brand and mobile-friendly
Reporting & Optimisation
Track and report on campaign performance, including open rates, clicks and conversions
Use insights to make recommendations and improve future campaigns
Help maintain dashboards and monitor deliverability and database health
Customer & Data Focus
Support segmentation strategies based on customer behaviour, travel preferences and lifecycle stage
Ensure customer data is accurate, well-managed and compliant with privacy regulations (e.g. Spam Act)
Assist with data hygiene and contact list management
Collaboration & Creative Input
Work closely with CRM Manager, Performance, Brand and Tech teams to deliver integrated campaigns
Collaborate with designers to brief and review assets
Contribute ideas to improve the customer journey and campaign experience
Your Experience
You will be detail-oriented, proactive and curious—someone who's eager to learn and grow, while delivering seamless experiences to WikiCamps users across the customer journey. You will have tertiary qualifications in Management, Marketing, Communications or a related field, combined with Marketing Automation Platform experience, i.e. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo. Ideally you will have tourism, accommodation or hospitality industry knowledge with a genuine passion for the customer experience. You will be technologically savvy with the ability to operate multiple programs in conjunction with one another and a strong strategic thinker with a customer focus and analytical capabilities.
You will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and will pride yourself on your organisation skills and your ability to switch priorities on short notice. You will possess a high level of energy, self-motivation, autonomy, initiative, flexibility and attention to detail to be successful in meeting the business demands at Discovery Parks. Your naturally upbeat and open style will fit our cultural values. You will have a highly organised mindset with the ability to assess the urgency of work allocated to you by various stakeholders.
