One of Australia's prominent **Federal Government Departments **is looking to engage an experienced **Project Officer **to join a unit providing direct support in planning, coordination, reporting of one of the organisations current programs of work. The **Project Officer** will be providing support and assistance in coordination of program and project level activities including preparing drafting project artefacts. The successful **Project Officer **will be offered an initial **6 month** contract along with a **possibility to extend** partnered with a **rewarding hourly rate**.

The successful **Project Officer **will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Assisting and provide input to project and reporting documents, preparation, and organisation
- Following up and actioning issues relating to meetings including committees meeting
- Drafting agendas, minutes and actioning items and monitoring and tracking outcomes
- Maintaining a robust reporting framework, including project updates, timelines and IT activities

The successful **Project Officer **will have experience in the following:

- Experience in organising meetings, conference and workshops
- Previous experience with drafting briefs, power point presentations and reports
- Demonstrated ability in managing multiple tasks and requests with limited lead times
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team and contribute to the programs objective in a professional manner
