The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high-quality nursing care to patients/clients of St George Hospital and the Health Service, consistent with SESLHD and hospital policies, procedures, and standards.

Selection Criteria
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
High-level written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to identify key messages, issues, and concerns.
Ability to proactively engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery and guide others in providing service excellence.
Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries in complex situations.
Basic computer skills and experience with health information systems.
Knowledge of risk management, safety, and quality principles, and the role of the Registered Nurse in applying these principles.
Recent post-registration critical care experience in an acute care setting.
