About the role

You will strive to increase conversion and engagement through helping coordinate the execution of a promotion and merchandising plan on our website. This will include best sellers, product promotions, engagement opportunities (we let our members make decisions about our product and pricing), up-sell and cross-sell opportunities

You will coordinate product and inventory strategy, content strategy and development of promotional campaigns with the help of the Head of Merchandising. An input into user experience and website design, customer service, web analytics and ensuring overall site performance is upheld.

**Responsibilities**:

- Execute onsite visual merchandising strategy to increase overall website conversion and revenue
- Work cross-department with Operations and Product to ensure the availability of inventory supports the promotion plan and online purchases
- Connect with the rest of the Marketing team to ensure departmental KPI's are met

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of Digital Merchandising best practices with a strong merchandising "eye" (1+ year experience in online merchandising for a consumer brand to illustrate this)
- knowledge of retail supply, operations, buying and planning
- Good verbal and written communications skills and attention-to-detail
- Organised; Strong work ethic and results focussed
- No need for wine experience (solid wine appreciation of course is a plus - provided you are not a wine bore)

In addition to the key attributes listed above, we are looking for an individual who:

- Doesn't crack under pressure (i.e. laughs, doesn't cry) when holding 12 plates that are spinning at the same time, while standing on the tip of a rocket at launch
- Is fun to work with and be around
