UGL and CPB Contractors are looking for a Diesel Mechanic to join the HumeLink West JV project team in Wagga Wagga and the Riverina Region.
There are roles available in the Civil, Substations and Logistics teams.
Demonstrated experience in a similar environmentKnowledge and experience in construction, transmission or Oil and GasProven commitment to promoting safety, quality, and environment compliance on site.Able to work autonomously and as part of a teamAbout YouTrade qualified Diesel Fitter to service and maintain our equipmentWorking on various equipment – Light vehicle, pumps & ancillary equipment, air compressors etc.Construction White Card - requiredDriver's licenceConstruction experience - desirableHeavy industry experience - desirableWhere applicable, evidence of tertiary qualifications and proof of right to work will be required prior to successful appointment.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.

HumeLink is one of Australia's largest energy infrastructure projects, with about 365kms of proposed new transmission lines and a range of other new and upgraded infrastructure.The HumeLink West scope of works, worth $1.5bn, includes delivery of new 500Kv double circuit transmission lines spanning ~143 kms from Wagga Wagga Substation to a new Substation at Gugaa, the Interface Point with HumeLink East near Gundagai and a new substation at Maragle in the Snowy Mountains for future connection to Snowy 2.0.
