Cloud Solutions Engineer
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Engineer to join our team.
The successful candidate will design and implement scalable cloud solutions using AWS infrastructure and services.
He/She will develop and customise SAS Visual Investigator data models, workflows, entities and rules to support investigative case management.
The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform for automating infrastructure provisioning and management.
He/She will build and optimise ETL pipelines to ingest structured/unstructured data into the SAS Visual Investigator platform.
The successful candidate will integrate external data sources and APIs with SAS Visual Investigator for entity resolution, alert generation and case enrichment.
He/She will implement CI/CD pipelines and version control for SAS Projects and configuration files.
The ideal candidate will write and maintain moderately complex code across multiple programming languages, including Python, JavaScript, and Golang.
Containerisation, deployment, and orchestration of applications using Docker and Kubernetes will also be a key responsibility.
Database administration and performance optimisation, particularly with Postgres and MySQL, is also required.
Maintenance of system health, logs, and performance using SAS tools will also be a part of this role.
Familiarity with HashiCorp Vault for securing sensitive data and managing secrets across cloud infrastructure is desired. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and customising SAS Visual Investigator data models, workflows, entities and rules to support investigative case management.
