Your Opportunity
**As the Team Leader, Banking and Receipting, you will**:

- Lead the Banking and Receipting team, coordinating day to day activities to ensure the delivery of efficient and effective payment solutions, and banking and receipting processes.
- Work collaboratively with the business to ensure systems and processes are streamlined, reflect contemporary financial management practices and meet business requirements.

This position reports to the Manager, Accounts Receivable and Banking.
This is a Permanent, Full-Time opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Banking and Receipting team, coordinating day to day activities to ensure the delivery of efficient and effective payment solutions and banking and receipting processes.
- Mentor and coach team members and support workplace training to develop a high-performing and engaged team and build future depth.
- Oversee and assist in the management of day to day banking and receipting activities, including: o Daily review and clearing of bank transactions;o Coordination with internal teams to ensure accurate and efficient identification and receipting of customer payments;o Meeting internal and external reporting obligations;o Managing international payments; ando Preparing and reviewing monthly bank reconcilations.
- Assist in the management of banking arrangements, including: o Managing operational access to bank accounts, ensuring appropriate controls and segregations exist within and across teams,o Ensuring effiicicent processes are in place for managing banking products including merchant facilities; ando Maintaining relationships with designated bank contacts and acting as key liaison for day to day issue management.
- Establish annual team plans, and monitor and prioritise team workloads to ensure the achievement of outcomes.
- Provide advice and guidance to team members on complex issues.
- Provide timely and high quality advice in relation to collection and receipting of monies, banking arrangements and related issues, and ensure that issues are quickly resolved within agreed timeframes and escalated where necessary.
- Monitor trends and changes in technology relating to banking and payment solutions, and liaise with relevant stakeholders within the business to identify and implement alternative payment solutions to maximise the collection of payments from students and customers and improve customer experience.
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvements and assist in developing, implementing and reviewing business processes that maximise collection of payments from students and customers, enhance the tracking of collections and payments, and improve the overall operational efficiency of the team and broader business.
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders in the business, including Customer Services, Student Management System Support and Finance Systems teams, to ensure systems and processes are streamlined, reflect contemporary financial management practices and meet business requirements.
- Maintain, monitor compliance with, and continuously improve banking and receipting processes, procedures, reporting and associated controls framework.
- Undertake a lead role when implementing related projects focused on, or incorporating, the banking and receipting functions.
- Contribute to and participate in portfolio and team initiatives and programs.
