We believe it takes a village to raise a child and our **Outside School Hours Care Services **in the **Redland region** is now seeking for Educators to join the team.

Services including:

- Alexandra Hills
- Victoria Point
- Carbrook

Being an OSHC educator holds a lot of flexibility to prioritise study or family needs, and at the Y, you might just discover a family of your own - we have a supportive team on the ground and at head office (Stafford location).

**What being an OSHC Educator Entails**

OSHC educators care for children before school, after school and during school holiday periods. Highlights include running fascinating, fun-filled and educational activities with primary school children - such as science experiments, outdoor games and painting.

As an OSHC Educator you will:

- hold a rewarding, challenging and interesting position;
- be able to allocate your availability to suit study or family needs;

- be provided with regular professional development and training.

**To be successful you must have**:

- A Certificate or Diploma qualification in Children Services or equivalent or if you are studying towards a relevant qualification
- A Fantastic sense of fun & a tremendous imagination
- Hold or are willing to obtain a current First Aid and CPR certification
- Current Blue Card or willing to obtain one

**Salary**: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ashgrove, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
