**The Opportunity**:
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Purchasing Officer to join the Kuisine Factory which is now located in Auburn NSW.

The Purchasing Officer is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency through accurate and timely production and procurement scheduling.

The Purchasing Officer will also perform ad-hoc duties as advised by management, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

**The scope of the role includes, but is not limited to**:

- Will involve a collaborative effort with the Warehouse Team Leader to effectively manage stock levels.
- Monitor and maintain adequate levels of raw materials and packaging to prevent production delays.
- Coordinate with suppliers and 3PL (third-party logistics) providers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Responsible for carrying out and overseeing weekly cycle counts.
- Communications with the Warehouse Team leader to confirm daily purchase orders are received and transfers are on time.
- Generate purchase orders based on inventory needs and production requirements.
- Maintain effective communication with suppliers, address any issues and follow up one week prior to reconfirm delivery is on schedule.
- Keep the production planner updated with current jobs and work order numbers.
- Backup support to the production planner when required.
- Maintaining a high level of Workplace Health and Safety.
- Work closely in a productive team environment.
- Proficiency in D365 highly advantageous
- Experience in managing and maintaining inventory levels highly regarded
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills essential
- Strong written and verbal communication, planning and organisation skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work closely in a productive team environment
