Perth, Western Australia Endurance Support Services Pty Ltd Full time

We are looking for disability support worker to support our clients located within South and North Perth Metro.

**RESPONSIBLITY**
- Provide high-quality support for clients accessing Supported Independent Living services
- Providing or assisting with personal care, such as toileting, showering, feeding, and dressing when required
- Supporting the development of independent living skills such as cooking, domestic and social skills
- Administering medication and adhering to individual support plans
- Completing clear, concise, and factual handover notes, case notes, and incident reports
- Assisting clients to engage in their local community and culture through access to community participation programs and recreational activities
- Transportation of clients to engage in community participation programs, appointments, and daily living tasks
- Support clients to attend appointments when required
- Supporting clients to exercise choice and control
- Mentoring and Skill development - guiding clients to explore and develop their personal interests and hobbies
- Be willing to be available to work a 24/7 roster which included mornings, nights, afternoons, evenings, awake shifts, sleepovers, and weekend shifts
- Ensure services provided are in line with all NDIA Quality and Safeguards practices

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- National Disability Insurance Scheme Worker Check available from Service NSW

**DESIRABLE CRITERIA**:

- Previous experience working in Disability Support, including high intensity will be well regarded but not essential
- An understanding of or a commitment to learn how to safeguard participants
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid
- Current Driver's License
- Commitment to Active and Person-Centered Support
- Availability to work a range of shifts in a teamwork environment

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $57.04 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (required)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)
