About the role
The Junior Legal Officer is a Deputy Prothonotary and is primarily responsible for the checking and authentication of orders made by the Associate Judge who is the Senior Master, and the Judicial Registrar assigned to Funds in Court, in relation to funds held in Court.
The Junior Legal Officer assists the Solicitor to the Senior Master in the discharge of their duty and reports to the Legal Services Manager.
About you
- A law degree or substantial progress towards that degree would be highly regarded
- An interest in the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court of Victoria including an ability to understand the Supreme Court (General Civil Procedure) Rules.
- Experience in the Disability Sector will be highly regarded.
