**About the role**
Are you an Outlook wiz? Do you Excel at spreadsheets? SBS has an exciting opportunity in our Sydney office for a dynamic, self-motivated team player to join the publicity department in a multifaceted Communications Assistant role.
The role is an integral part of SBS's Publicity team and coordinates the flow of the department's administration requirements, acting as a support for the team.
The Communications Assistant will look after SBS's Screening Room, manage spreadsheets and bookings for internal and external events, and support the communications team with a range of administration tasks, including creating PowerPoints, organising travel, booking meetings, updating media databases, processing invoices, organising schedules.

To be successful in this role, you'll be a highly effective communicator with strong computer skills and outstanding time management, prioritisation and organisational skills.
**You'll be ready for your next big challenge and come equipped with**:

- Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with great attention to detail.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to learn new software as necessary.
- The ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- An enthusiastic and a positive attitude.
- Relevant qualifications with experience gained through education, training and/or work experience.
