Graduate Geologist

Graduate Geologist / Soil Technician is needed to support drilling and soil testing activities.

This specialised and successful environmental consultancy has been servicing the local market for over twenty years. They offer specialist geotechnical services and provide expert technical advice to support soil, geology and hydrology related developments and operations.

**Your new role**

Reporting to the Senior Geologists, this role will see you providing technical input and operational support for drilling operations, soil testing and field service work. You'll be responsible for assisting with soil tests, analysing soil samples, and collating data for the preparation of soil / geotechnical reports. You'll be performing your duties onsite, in the office and within the laboratory. As such, you'll need to be comfortable working in these environments.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this role, you must be familiar and confident with the operation of drill rigs, soil testing equipment and the associated data collection and analysis. Ideally, you'll have a geology degree with a few years on-site experience. In addition to your technical expertise, you must have excellent communication skills to assist with the preparation of technical reports.
