Joining our team, as an experienced Designer, you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists who collectively development of infrastructure design solutions relating to Water and wastewater infrastructure projects.Joining our Water team, as an experienced Senior Water Engineer, you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists.Together with your exemplary teamwork, stakeholder management, written and verbal communication skills; to be successful in this role you will ideally possess some or all of the following:Experience working in the Australian market, preferably 7+ years.
.Degree qualification in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or associated fieldStrong working knowledge of current statutory requirements, engineering and contract standards applicable in South Australia.Chartered Engineering Status (CPEng) or willingness to obtain it.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrated ability to work with and lead a range of engineering professionals in a team environment with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to successfully build and maintain positive internal relationships.Ability to develop external client relationships and key stakeholders and industry networks that may contribute to business growth.Demonstrated experience in applying industry standards, e.g. SA Water standards, WSA etc.Demonstrated experience in applying Quality Assurance, Risk Management, Safety in Design, HAZOP, design review processes for our projects.Experience in Water Supply and Sewerage design, including pipelines & pump stationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail and a strong focus on the production of quality outputsThis is the ideal position for someone who is driven to master their craft, is committed to providing quality design solutions, and is excited about joining a high performing team who are recognised for technical excellence, finding creative and progressive ways to deliver value for our clients, and putting a values based human touch into developing solutions that have wide reaching and critical impact.Job locationThis role is based at Tonkin's state-of-the-art head office in Adelaide CBD.The Tonkin differenceWe know people perform at their best when they enjoy coming to work.At Tonkin we offer you the opportunity to work with leading industry experts in a genuinely supportive and caring environment.
