Assistant Store Manager – Hoppers Crossing at Fantastic Furniture. Join as the Assistant Store Manager for the Hoppers Crossing store. Reporting to the Retail Business Leader (store manager), you will lead the daily store operations to support business growth, identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, manage staff rostering and costs, and equip your team with training, tools and resources to succeed. You will lead by example to inspire a high-performing team culture that prioritises safety and delivers a great place to work and shop.
Responsibilities
Lead daily store operations to support business growth objectives.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies and manage costs of doing business.
Coordinate staff rostering and ensure adequate coverage.
Provide training and development to your team to uplift capability and performance.
Lead by example to foster a safe, customer-focused and high-performing team culture.
About You
2+ years of retail experience with proven experience leading and coaching teams.
Passionate about delivering an excellent customer experience.
Confident in analysing financial data to achieve targets and support operational excellence.
Committed to ongoing learning; willingness to complete Qualifications (Cert III Retail or similar) if not already held.
Ability to give feedback, navigate challenging situations, and prioritise the safety and wellbeing of your team and customers.
