St Peter's Early Learning Centre is a Catholic Co-educational Early Learning Environment, a partnership of education between St Kevin's College Toorak and the Parish of St Peter's Toorak.
We strive to provide a sense of belonging, respecting the children as competent and capable learners, seeing each child as a balanced child with a strong sense of identity.The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced and passionate Early Learning Childhood Assistant to join our dedicated team.
The successful candidate will be working on a part time basis (0.65) Monday to Friday 12pm-5pm.
This is a fixed term position commencing 21 July 2025 to 26 January 2025.Reporting to the Head of St Peter's Early Learning Centre, the role will support and enhance development and learning of both 3-4 and 4-5 year old's through the implementation of the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood.About YouTo be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will have the following:Diploma of Children's ServicesExcellent communication, organization and time management skillsBe passionate, authentic and have a love for learning and teachingBe Creative, energetic and have a willingness to work as part of a teamCurrent First Aid Certificate; Asthma, Anaphylaxis, CPR trainingIf this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.
