**About the Role**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Dispatch & Warehouse Assistant / Factory Hand to join our dynamic team at our Thomastown facility. This is a varied and hands-on role that requires a proactive individual with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse and dispatch processes, as well as providing support in our factory.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Dispatch**:

- Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently.
- Preparing and labelling shipments for various carriers.
- Processing shipping documentation and ensuring timely dispatch.
- Managing inventory levels and reporting discrepancies.
- Communicating with customers regarding order status and delivery inquiries.
- **Warehouse**:

- Receiving and processing incoming deliveries.
- Storing and organizing stock in designated areas.
- Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment.
- Operating forklift (if licensed) and other warehouse equipment.
- Assisting with stocktakes and cycle counts.
- **Factory Hand**:

- Assisting with production tasks as required (e.g., filling, labelling).
- Operating machinery and equipment (training provided).
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Previous experience in a dispatch, warehouse, or factory environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Forklift license is a plus.
- Basic computer skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
