**Learning Enrichment and Support Coordinator (K-6)**

**Permanent, full-time role**

**About the Role**

Our Learning Enrichment and Support Coordinator (K-6) will:

- have a significant learning support teaching load
- work with a range of students with disability across Early Stage 1 through to Stage 3 at substantial and supplementary levels of support
- coordinate collaborative planning for students with disability and diverse needs
- demonstrate inclusive practices such as adjustments and interventions to assist students with disability to better access and participate in the curriculum
- display strong administrative skills, maintaining Student Learning Plans, parent correspondence and working in collaboration with the Junior School Student Services team (Stage Coordinators, School Counsellors and Year Advisors)
- work closely with colleagues to coordinate internal and external extension programs to enrich gifted and talented junior students in Early Stage 1 to Stage 3 have experience working with NCCD, NAPLAN and Disability Provisions processes (desirable not essential)
- The successful applicant will be supported within a professional and collaborative team, with ongoing opportunities for professional learning and mentoring. This role will provide the successful applicant the opportunity to work across the curriculum in a leadership capacity, and to build, create and improve learning opportunities for junior students.
- A personal Christian commitment and understanding of the Christian context of the School with a demonstrated alignment with the mission and values of the School
- Appropriate teaching qualifications and accreditation with NESA
- A current First Aid certificate and Working with Children Check clearance
- Experience working with students who have special learning and/or support requirements (which may be intellectual, social and/or physical)
- Ability to manage sensitive information discretely and maintain confidentiality at all times
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in working as a team with the ability to be supportive, build connections and encourage others
- Confidence in the use of technology

**Employment Conditions**
- The position is a permanent full-time role.
Salary is in accordance with the Independent Schools (Teachers) Cooperative Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2025.
