**About the role**

We are a small family dental practice, located in Capalaba near Brisbane. In this dual role, you will provide exceptional front office support as well as clinical assistance to our dentists and hygienists, ensuring our patients receive a seamless and high-quality experience.

**What you'll be doing**
- Greeting and welcoming patients, managing the reception area, and handling administrative tasks such as booking appointments, managing patient records, and processing payments
- Assisting dentists and hygienists during procedures by preparing treatment rooms, sterilising instruments, and providing char side support
- Ensuring the dental practice is well-stocked with necessary supplies and maintaining a clean and organised work environment
- Providing excellent customer service and addressing patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and compassionate manner
- Staying up-to-date with dental terminology, procedures, and new technologies to better support the clinical team

**What we're looking for**
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar patient-facing role within the dental industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, dentists, and the broader team
- Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail to maintain accurate records and ensure a smooth-running practice
- Proficiency in using dental software and digital technologies
- A genuine interest in dentistry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $30.00 - $37.01 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
