Associate / Senior Associate, Funds Super Financial ServicesApply nowLocation: Sydney (Hybrid work model)Job type: Full-timePosted: 30+ days agoAbout the role Join our Funds Super & Financial Services (FSF) team in Sydney, collaborating with lawyers in Melbourne and across our offices.
You will work closely with Partners and the team, gaining exposure to complex superannuation and financial services regulatory work.
We support our lawyers in finding their niche and developing broad expertise.Our clients include Australia's leading superannuation funds, wealth platforms, insurers, banks, and financial service providers.
Your responsibilities will include:Assisting with regulatory and transformation projectsResponding to investigations and prosecutions by authorities like APRA and ASICAdvising on superannuation fund mergersCollaborating with our M&A team on financial transactionsProviding guidance on regulatory obligations such as licensing and disclosureNegotiating commercial agreements, including outsourcing and distributionThis is a permanent, full-time role.
