**About the program**:
The Strengthening Hospital Responses to Family Violence (SHRFV) Project commenced at Austin Health in early 2017 and is designed to increase the skills and confidence of staff, develop, and share resources and build hospital capability to better respond to family violence. The scope has now widened to incorporate the implementation of the Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management (MARAM) Framework and Information Sharing Schemes (FVISS and CISS).

**About the role**:
As the Family Violence and Child Safe Program Lead you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and reporting on activities in relation to key Austin Health priorities, in the areas of SHRFV, MARAM alignment and Child Safety.

Key responsibilities will see you:

- Review, action and monitor key project objectives as stated within the Austin Health Family Violence and Child Safe Action Plan
- Provide expert advice and guidance to support the continued development of Austin Health's response to family violence
- Direct, lead and implement a "whole of health" education and communication strategy and associated policy, procedure, guidelines and clinical forms/tools and educational resources
- Manage relationships with external and internal partners and stakeholders to support the project deliverables

**About you**:
You will have experience in and understanding of people leadership, quality and service improvement and clinical expertise, to ensure the delivery of valued services and outcomes. You'll be comfortable leading one direct report, as well as providing secondary consultation to social workers and other hospital staff.

Ideally, you'll have:

- A degree in Social Work, with at least 10 years' experience
- An understanding of the Victorian Family Violence Reform and organisational requirements to meet Child Safe Standards
- The ability to provide strategic input to system and organisational improvements
- Experience in building and participating in internal and external stakeholder partnerships and governance networks
- Strong problem solving and project management skills
