**The Team**:
As a Consultant at Synergy, you will have an opportunity to contribute to a range of consulting projects for Federal Government clients. **Responsibilities of the role**:
What we do can't be neatly packaged into a position description. By joining our team, you will be asked to:

- Solve complex problems by asking the "so what" and joining the dots
- Provide sound advice using data-based analysis to inform decisions and shape the bigger picture
- Drive the delivery of outputs and shared outcomes hand-in-hand with the clients you serve
- Guide stakeholders along a journey they may find uncomfortable and overwhelming at times
- Join a team of generalists and technical experts who may approach tasks from differing angles.

**What success looks like for this role**:

- Being a trusted advisor to government managers and executives
- Building relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Performing research and analysis to develop project documents and artefacts
- Developing engaging presentations or visual material to communicate with a range of audiences
- Strong communication skills (written and oral) to develop arguments and provide a logical evidence base to engage a range of audiences
- Ability to be agile and flexible in your approach
- Professionalism, diligence and organisational skills.

**Additional information**:
**Must be an Australian citizen.**
Must have the ability to obtain and hold a Baseline Security Clearance.
