Insights Data Power BI Business Intelligence Analyst | 6-Month Contract | Up to $850/day | Melbourne | Data | Power BIAbout the CompanyAllura Partners are exclusively partnering with a well-known Australian firm who are looking to secure a highly skilled BI (Business Intelligence) Analyst on a 6 months rolling contractAbout the Role As an BI Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing complex datasets, building visualisations, and translating data into actionable insights that drive business strategy.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will play a key role in delivering high-impact reporting and supporting data-driven decision-making.Key Responsibilities Analyse large datasets to uncover trends and provide strategic insights Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Write and optimise complex SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear, compelling manner Work collaboratively with teams across the business to support data-driven decision-making Skills & Experience Required: 5+ years of experience in data analysis, insights, or business intelligence roles Strong proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and Python Ability to storytell with data, turning complex information into actionable insights Experience engaging with stakeholders and presenting insights to non-technical audiences Tertiary qualification in Data Science, Econometrics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or Applied Physics Desirable: Experience with AWS technologies (EC2, S3, Redshift, SageMaker) Familiarity with Apache Airflow or other orchestration tools Understanding of data engineering best practices, including scalable algorithms and clean coding principles Experience working with Linux and shell scripting Contract Details Duration: 6-month rolling contract with potential extensions Rate: Up to $850 per day Location: Hybrid work model (mix of office and remote) If you're interested in this opportunity and feel you're the right fit, please click "Apply" About Allura Partners Allura Partners was founded to support private equity firms by placing C-Suites to lead, transform, and scale portfolio companies.
