In this hands-on role, you'll take charge of meal preparation, kitchen cleanliness, and dining room standards, making sure every plate served is fresh, safe, and satisfying.
You'll also be part of a team that values respect, independence, and genuine community spirit.What You'll Be DoingLead meal preparation, ordering, and kitchen stock management while maintaining high food quality and minimising wasteOversee food safety compliance as the site's Food Safety Supervisor, including temperature checks and documentationMaintain a clean and hygienic kitchen, dining area, and community spaces to meet health standardsBuild positive relationships with residents and team members, always showing care, empathy, and professionalismFollow WHS procedures, complete training, and safely handle chemicals and equipment in line with safety guidelinesAbout YouQualified with Food Safety Supervisor accreditation and HACCP knowledgeExperienced in cooking and serving buffet-style meals, with a basic understanding of budgeting and cost controlFriendly, caring, and confident with great communication skills and a team-first attitudeOrganised, detail-oriented, and able to handle feedback professionally and positivelyPhysically fit and comfortable with hands-on kitchen work, including lifting, cleaning, and using PPECulture and BenefitsIn return, we offer a competitive package, flexibility (including working from home for some roles), extensive training and development, career progression and generous reward and recognition programs including some amazing discounts at our Holiday Parks so come join the team and apply now
