Assistant Executive Housekeeper – Crown Towers Perth
This is a full-time position at Crown Towers, Perth. The Assistant Executive Housekeeper is responsible for assisting in the overall operation of the Housekeeping Department by planning, coordinating and supervising staff and services to ensure hotel operations run efficiently and meet Crown service standards. Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, this role supports the direction and coordination of all activities of the Housekeeping Department to achieve maximum efficiency and to ensure guest comfort and needs are met, with high-quality service delivery. The Assistant Housekeeper may act in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper.
This is a full-time position, working 80 hours per fortnight.
Responsibilities
Assist in planning, coordinating and supervising Housekeeping staff and services to ensure hotel operations run efficiently and meet Crown service standards.
Support the direction and coordination of all activities of the Housekeeping Department to achieve maximum efficiency and guest comfort with high-quality service delivery.
Take on all responsibilities of the Executive Housekeeper in their absence.
Qualifications
Extensive hotel operational experience, with supervisory/management experience in a similar role in a superior hotel.
Experience in managing teams to meet key performance objectives, introducing and implementing procedures.
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task.
Understanding of health and safety requirements to provide a safe work environment, with a focus on compliance and best practice.
Knowledge of OPERA Property Management Systems is preferred.
Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality or business-related qualification preferred.
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment would be advantageous.
