**About the role**

Join as an important member of Origin's Retail Finance & Strategy team. As a Credit Portfolio Commercial Analyst, you will lead the way in transforming our Retail business with data-driven insights and creative credit strategies. This is an opportunity to be involved in a dynamic, fast-growing area, making a real difference in the future of energy.

**Key responsibilities**
- Collaborate and partnering with business and operations teams to deliver performance insights and develop data-led credit strategies.
- Analyse data to uncover performance trends, identify segmentation opportunities, and drive improvements.
- Present findings and insights to stakeholders, ensuring they are aligned with strategic goals.
- Develop comprehensive reporting measures to monitor performance and analyse variances.
- Devise and monitor remediation strategies to enhance value and performance.
- Connect operational activities to commercial outcomes, ensuring a positive experience.

**What will you bring?**

Problem-solving will be your forte, and you will be able to handle any ambiguity that comes your way in the business world. You also have excellent interpersonal skills that enable you to establish rapport with the people you collaborate with. You will also be able to demonstrate.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Tableau, SQL, Pycharm) with a keen understanding of logic and coding.
- Commercially savvy with the ability to perform financial evaluations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Skilled at managing multiple projects simultaneously and thriving under pressure.
- Capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team.

Desirable Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree (e.g., Chartered Accountant, MBA in Finance) is highly valued.
- Experience in a similar role within a competitive retail environment.
