Delivery DriverAbout the role:Our Driver's typical day isn't just driving and delivering parts, they play a key role in our branch teams.
Driver's build strong relationships through high standards of sales and service in a customer facing role.Duties include:Coordinate and manage deliveriesEnsure a safe work environmentSafe driving behavioursDeliver high level customer serviceBuild strong customer bondsSafely deliver parts & products to our trade customers, including workshops and dealershipsActively promote products & marketing activities when delivering productsAssist the team with other tasks such as processing orders, dispatching products, processing credits, customer enquiriesNote, this role will require lifting, bending, climbing & safe driving / machine operation.Who we're looking for:Ability to multitask and prioritise deliveries based on urgencyCustomer service mindset; can build strong customer relationshipsFriendly and knowledgeableComfort working independentlyPhysical capacity to perform the duties of the role (including handling products of a heavy nature)Conscious of workplace safety alwaysOngoing commitment to safe driving practicesHold a current/valid driver's licence (manual preferred)Previous customer service experience within a trade/mechanical environment (desirable)Available Mon - Friand flexible to work other days if requestedFormer GPC team members welcome to apply.
