**The Organisation**

The Adelaide Convention Centre sits proudly in the Riverbank Precinct, which is rapidly evolving to create a new hub for Adelaide, incorporating new research, health and medical centres, educational institutions, sport, entertainment, convention and event facilities.

**The Role**

This is your opportunity to be part of an accomplished, professional Security & Visitor Services team, as a Casual Security Officer. In this role you will be responsible for patrolling the Adelaide Convention Centre external facilities and providing safety and security to staff, clients and members of the public whilst protecting the assets of our venues.

Shifts will be early morning and late evening and would provide a high degree of compatibility with other employment. Shifts available will be Monday to Sunday 5.00am till 0900 and 2200 till 0200 on a rotating roster.

To be successful in this role you need to be:

- Self-motivated
- Physically fit
- Confident and controlled in potentially confrontational situations
- Be able to effectively manage conflict with excellent communication skills
- Be flexible with your hours of work

All applicants must hold a current SA Security License, with approved 'crowd controller' endorsement for licensed premises as well as a current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA). You must have flexible transport arrangements to fit around shift work and a pre-employment medical examination is also a requirement, this will be arranged and paid for by the Corporation.
