Earn an extra 10% above award with the Retention PaymentCasual positionThe OpportunityVillageOSHC, part of The Extend Group, is looking for an OSHC Service Assistant at St Thomas the Apostle Catholic School in Cranbourne East as well as our affiliated school St Agatha\'s Catholic Primary School in Cranbourne to play, teach, and take care of children in a safe learning environment in Outside School Hours Care.The RoleAfter School Care 3:15 PM to 6:00 PM.Tuesdays and Wednesdays mandatory availability (Monday to Friday availability preferred)Holiday care up to 6 hours per dayAssist in delivering daily quality activities for children that are safe, fun, stimulating, and carry educational valueSupervise and support childrenPrepare and serve healthy food optionsCreate an engaging and happy environment for childrenBuild meaningful relationships with your colleagues, the children, families, school leaders, and the school communityAbout YouEngaging and warm personalityStrong focus on child safety and appreciation for mandatory reportingExcellent communication and people skillsYou hold Certificate III or higher in Children\'s Services, Early Childhood, School Aged care (or studying towards) or equivalentWorking with Children Check (willing to obtain)First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training (or willing to obtain)Child Protection Training CertificateAvailable to work Monday to FridayPlenty of BenefitsHeavily discounted childcare feesWork in an inclusive, fun, and dynamic organisationBe supported by a committed Management TeamFantastic professional development, coaching, and learning opportunitiesAn exciting career pathwaySplit shifts/work-life balancePaid First-Aid & CPR trainingSplit Shift AllowanceApplications close as soon as we\'ve hired you
