About the role

The Health Practitioner – Cadet (Physiotherapy) supports the delivery of physiotherapy and allied health services across the Complex Chronic Disease Team. Working under supervision, the role involves providing clinical support, developing practical skills, and contributing to the care of clients with chronic and complex health conditions while undertaking tertiary studies in physiotherapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver delegated clinical assessment and treatment tasks under supervision within scope of practice.

• Support clients through education and engagement in defined therapy programs.

• Contribute to quality improvement, service development, and multidisciplinary teamwork.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and assist with data collection.

• Balance study commitments with workplace learning and development requirements.
