We are currently expanding our Workcover team and are looking for a Lawyer passionate about building their career in WorkCover and Personal Injury Law.

This is a growth role in the team and we are open to someone with previous experience in Personal Injury looking to advance their career in a high performing team. You will be working closely with Senior Lawyers and a Partner.

The role:

• Advise and represent clients, specialising in Workcover cases.
• Conduct thorough legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, and prepare for trial.
• Advise clients on legal rights and obligations, and develop effective case strategies.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate on behalf of clients in court and during alternative dispute resolution processes.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure comprehensive and efficient case management.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
• Actively participate in networking and business development activities which seeks to grow the firm's client base, standing and reputation.

About you:

• We are keen to speak with Admitted Lawyers with a passion to build their career in Workcover and Personal Injury Law.
• Prior experience in Workcover Law.
• Motivation and passion to learn and excel.
• Exposure to litigation and court work would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders effectively.
• Exceptional client focus, fostering relationships based on trust and respect.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
