About the role and team

We have a new opportunity for a mid-level .NET / C# Developer to join our Client Solutions team within Corporate Services. The Client Solutions team runs the firm's Legal Operations practice and as part of that analyses, develops and delivers technology enabled legal solutions to the firm and its clients.

In this role you will assist the team in delivering custom software applications and extending and integrating with existing enterprise software.

The primary focus of the role will be:

  • development of standalone .NET MVC Applications to provide custom functionality to both external clients and our internal lawyers;
  • development to customise and develop new functionality for our Legal Case Management system; and
  • undertaking integration work with third party enterprise applications.

About you

You will ideally have the following skills and experience:

  • experience in C# .Net 6 development and ASP.NET MVC / WebAPI;
  • experience with SQL Server, using ORMs and TSQL;
  • experience in JavaScript;
  • experience with React, Git and Azure DevOps CI/CD is desirable;
  • familiarity with Jira and legal software such as iManage and Aderant Expert is desirable;
  • understanding of agile SCRUM methodology is desirable;
  • strong communication skills and willingness to learn;
  • ability to problem solve and troubleshoot issues alongside other team members as required;
  • accuracy and attention to detail;
  • task focussed;
  • excellent organisational and time management skills;
  • ability to problem-solve and effectively communicate information to stakeholders; and
  • ability to follow instructions and work in a team, as well as autonomously.
