The opportunity

La Tosca is seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Food Process Workers to join our dynamic team in our manufacturing facility in Brunswick, VIC. As a casual employee, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our food production processes.
Early morning starts Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

  • Accurately weigh, measure, and prepare food ingredients according to standardized recipes and production specifications

  • Operate various food processing equipment such as mixers and packaging machines in a safe and efficient manner

  • Carefully monitor product quality and adhere to food safety and hygiene standards throughout the production process

  • Assist with packing, labeling, and palletising finished products

  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained

  • Respond promptly to any production issues or equipment malfunctions, and report them to the supervisory team

What we're looking for

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar food processing or manufacturing role, with a strong understanding of food safety and quality control practices

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and procedures with precision

  • Good hand-eye coordination and physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently, to meet production targets

  • Basic numeracy skills for accurately measuring and weighing ingredients

  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment
