About Calibre Tutoring

Calibre Tutoring delivers expert math support to K–12 students across Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. Our mission is to build confidence, improve academic performance, and foster a genuine love of learning. We are seeking dedicated and skilled tutors to join our team as independent contractors to help students reach their full potential.

Role Overview

We're looking for enthusiastic tutors to provide one-on-one, in-home math tutoring sessions for students from primary school through HSC. While the role is mainly face-to-face, occasional remote sessions may be offered upon request. You will assess student needs, prepare personalised lesson plans, and track academic progress.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-home math tutoring sessions for K–12 students, including HSC.
  • Tailor lessons to meet each student's level, needs, and learning style.
  • Monitor and report on student progress to parents.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule for after-school and weekend sessions.
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong understanding of the NSW math curriculum (Primary, High School, and HSC).
  • Previous tutoring or teaching experience highly regarded.
  • Clear communication skills and passion for education.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage your own schedule.
  • Availability for in-person sessions in the Eastern Suburbs.
  • Valid Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain one.
