We are a small, privately run Exceeding-rated service located in the heart of Penrith, Western Sydney. With no more than 15 children per day, cared for by two dedicated educators, we offer a calm and supportive learning environment. All children in our preschool room are toilet-trained, allowing us to focus on high-quality education and care.

We cater for children aged 6 months to 6 years and are seeking a driven, passionate Preschool Teacher to assist in the day-to-day running of our service. If you're looking for a workplace with strong support, mentoring, and professional growth opportunities, this is the place for you.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold an ACECQA-approved Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education and Care) with a minimum of 3 years' leadership experience.
  • Have a strong understanding of the NQS, National Regulations, EYLF, Code of Ethics, and Children's Rights.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and delivering the educational program, Quality Improvement Plan, and Reconciliation Action Plan.
  • Working closely with the Service Manager to support daily operations.
  • Mentoring and guiding staff to reach their full potential.
  • Using and embedding Little Adventurers ELC policies and practices to ensure standards exceed the NQS.
  • Assessing children's learning and applying pedagogical expertise to guide curriculum decisions.
  • Building strong, positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
  • Promoting reflective practice, continuous improvement, and sharing best practice.
  • Ensuring a safe, nurturing, and professional environment for all.

For the right candidate, we will also consider a Diploma-qualified educator who is actively working towards their ECT qualification (minimum 50% completed).
