Job Description:

As a Civil Site Engineer at Quantum Civil, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing construction projects from pre-construction phase to completion. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals and be responsible for ensuring that projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Assist in project planning, including value management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Estimation: Assist in quantity take-off, procuring quotations and preparation of BOQs for tender submissions.
  • Site Management: Oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work progresses efficiently.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the highest construction standards are met.
  • Budget and Cost Management: Monitor project budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and manage project expenses.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, drawings, and progress reports.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations and obtain necessary permits.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Civil Site Engineer in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of sustainability and environmental standards is a plus.
