About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Food & Beverage Attendant to join our team at Barilla Bay Tasmania in Cambridge, TAS. This part-time role will see you providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant and bar.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and seating customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
  • Taking food and beverage orders and delivering them in a timely fashion
  • Ensuring tables are cleared and reset efficiently
  • Restocking and maintaining the bar and service areas
  • Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Assisting with functions and events as required
  • Providing excellent customer service at all times

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a similar customer-facing role within the hospitality industry
  • A positive, friendly and professional attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking capabilities
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and procedures
  • RSA certification
  • Flexible availability, 15+ hours per week Thursday - Monday
